What happens when everything you've ever knew just suddenly was taken away and you were to be kept in a small unknown area and its only you and a guard. 17 year old Dylan Harrisin knows, she was raised in the wealthiest family and suddenly one day her mother disappears and her father, George Harrisin orders a personal guard for his daughter Dylan, because he knows that there after him and then Dylan and her guard are traveling all over the world and they don't get along at all. Until one day, Sam (the guard) saves Dylan's life and she suddenly sees something different in him and she finds herself spending time with Sam and then they grow feelings for each other and they can't stand to live with out each other.

There was a major war that happened and now the government is trying a new experiment on the city. The main character, Alex, and her best friends who are twins are seeing that something isn't right. They're seniors in high school but because of the war, they've been separated on government orders. No one is allowed outside because the government is making people to believe its toxic. They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue. But the first step, going outside. Is it truely toxic out there ? They're about to find out.
