Follow the story of shadow and her guardian angel Shade, who is a dog. She is rescued and when she learns that she was taken away from her family and experimented on she freaks out and wonders why she can't remember her family. She then meets her four friends from her life in New Zealand and this story follows shadow and her friends all around the world making new friends and making plenty of enemies along they way. She gets a dog whom she names Shade and is then kidnapped again. But this time by people who want to help her. She learns that others want to use her for evil and soon she learns she will be in the fight for her life. At the end she finally meets her real family and is happy until she has to disappear leaving them broken hearted once again.
