We as a race have spent millennia warring and killing each other over everthing from God to Country, Money and Power, Love and Jealousy, or even simple Psychotic Rage. But now that Humanity has a new enemy to face, one from the stars with far superior technology. And it is now up to every Man, Woman, and Child to come together and make a choice: fight for their Freedom, no matter the cost and to the bitter end, or Surrender and face the implications of what that means...

Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.

In 2037, in the middle of nowhere, lies a newly built testing lab, owned by the government. The government is unfortunately corrupted, and has led the whole country into disaster. People are starving, and the whole economy is falling apart. Since the government needs a new way to get out of this terrible situation, they are finding new ways to make money. Fortunately for them, science has blessed them with a new discovery- a new blood type. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus. Unfortunately, your attempt has failed, and you are now trapped in a cell waiting for testing. You are their newest subject, subject number 43.

The world is rapidly changing. On Earth, geopolitical tensions rise to a breaking point, with nations poised on the edge of catastrophic conflict. Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.
