It's currently 2016, November in New York. Almost a year short of six hundred gone from her. He lives here, adapting slowly as he hides in the background. He has little time, his master growing tired of him. He has become disobedient, ever since she was taken.

But what happens when she shows up again, in a coffee shop off main? The same smile, same appearance, down to the same name. She feels curious towards him, as she did before. Is she enough to help him, in the small amount of time he has? Is there a way to give him more? Or will this second chance just become a test?
