An man who has been a solider of one form or another his whole life tries to escape his bloody life by taking an offer he can't refuse. A girl meets a very mysterious man who gives her seemingly simple tasks for some extra coin to feed her family, but when the tasks start getting darker and her blood begins to sing she realises something about both herself and the world that only a handful of people alive know, and it isn't good news.
