Maya Penelope Hart. A girl who only ever dreams of seeing her favorite bands and singers in concert, and meeting her best friend, Riley Matthews in person so she can see her face to face without a having to worry about a screen always being in between them. Not to mention the 1.5 thousand miles between New York and South Dakota that separates them. I guess that's the price she has to pay for meeting her best friend through her Instagram fanpage for all her favorite singers and bands. She has cheerleading for her school's football team as her only distraction, and is unwillingly popular because of it. Will she ever find something or someone that makes her happy that she doesn't have to pay to see? Someone that that's actually nearby? She begins to lose hope that anyone that lives anywhere near her could ever care. Lucas Friar. A boy who centers his life around popularity and sports. Not that he has to or wants to, it's just how it ended up being. He's one of the most popular guys in school because he is on the football team. You never know when something is missing in your life until one day it suddenly comes. Or in this case until it walks into the store that you work at to look for band merch. I guess it's a good thing that he decided to apply for a job at Maya's favorite place to get her favorite band and singer t-shirts. Will he realize that he was never really happy because he was okay with being content with his life? Will he eventually get more out of life? He begins to realize he never really had anything constantly causing him to smile. The best people stumble into your life by chance. It is your job to get them to stay by choice. __________________________________ You do not have to watch Girl Meets World or ship Lucaya to read this. Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.
