All my life it's been me. I have no friends. I have no life. There is just me and my dream.

The dream that I was a book character. And so I trained. I would be prepared no matter what was thrown at me. I learned to shoot, to fire a bow, to ride, I became a black belt in karate and tae kwon do. I learned how to throw knives and I planned. I planned for everything. Then in one foul swoop, everything changed. I moved to Miami and on my birthday, all the planning and preparation went out the window. My family was split in half. And not through anything typical like divorce. We were split by light.

So when my handsome and my inherently arrogant neighbour, Mikah takes an interest me, his family soon follows in a gesture that can only be cataclysmic. I fight them, I fight myself and I fight my mother with only one thing in my head; I will save my family if it's the last thing I do.

Soon, the dangers of being a Witch become all too apparent and the presumed ease of a rescue takes a drastic turn. Elena and Mikah have no one to turn to and no one to trust when they embark on a journey of peril, crime and heroism. The beauty of the adventure soon fades as darkness descends like a shadow in the night and Elena has lost all shred of her humanity and sanity. Everyone fights against her until Elena is fighting a one-sided battle, surrounded on all sides with no one she can trust. Can Elena overcome her prejudices to save herself and everyone she loves?

Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" "Ezra, you know once you turn them, they hate you," "I didn't hate pops," "You wanted to join though," "True, but first see if she wants to be turn before you jump to conclusions," I nodded my head, before me and Ezra took off to find some fresh blood for the night.

Everything was gone. I sobbed, my clothes ripped and I was bleeding, but it didn't matter. I had to get to her, to them. Had to find- Struggling to stand, I grasped my side, biting back the scream that wanted to escape. I looked down at my hands and red coated them, blurring together until I couldn't see anything anymore. I squeezed my eyes shut, forcing my panicked breathing to slow, until I felt in control of myself again. It had been so long, I thought as I turned my peeling and dry face to the sun, my fingers shaking as I struggled to make sense of them. For so long, I'd been a wolf, cursed. All that I was, or could've been had been reduced to nothing but an animal driven by instinct, bloodlust, thousands of lives met their ends at the edges of my razor sharp claws. I had no idea where I was, how much time had passed. My fingers touched something hard in the sand, and a jolt of information went through me as Queen Azalea's sword, gleamed as I pulled it free. My heart started to pound as sun glinted off of the blade, reflecting back at me. I nearly dropped the metal when I saw myself. I took a second look and saw white hair, caked with dirt, and yellow eyes, blue veins sparking in their depths. All at once, I remembered who I was. I remembered why I was here, how much time had passed. I am Azalea Marie Albescu, The Queen Alpha. A false queen sits on my throne, controls what's mine. I would have to make my way back to my pack, my family, and my home, if still there. I would rise again, as I had before, and reclaim what belongs to me. DISCLAIMER: AS WITH MANY OF MY STORIES, I DO IMPLICATE SITUATIONS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT/ABUSE. Not in any way do I intend to glamorize this behavior, I write about these delicate and painful situations because I myself relate to them and will always fight for survivors, including myself. Thank you for your understanding and if you are in any way uncomfortable reading these stories, I encourage you to look elsewhere.

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

"I love you, too." I replied choking back tears. "I'm just scared. I'm trying so hard to fight it. It's like I'm bottling all these emotions of hate and fear and anger. But this bottle is one more crack from busting, and I'm scared that it's going to cut you and mom and Dad and Ryan, and everyone and everything I love that's standing around it." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Violet was just a typical little girl who was headed to a celebration held by the Orhas, a race of shapeshifters that live a peaceful life in a town deep in the woods of a magical world. This was supposed to be a normal celebration in which the current King of the Orhas would appoint a new ruler to take his or her place. But what they didn't expect was that later that night, a group of men would attack the town separating twelve year old Violet from her parents. Leaving her on a quest to find her parents and save the Orhas, but putting her in a position that she'd never bargained for. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for all the support on my novel Love Always Wins. You guys have no idea how happy I am that people read it. It really made my day. don't forget to read the rest of the series.
