"Congratulations, Queen Amelia! It's two twin boys!" The maid said with joy, as she held the two bundles in her arms so the Queen could take a look. One of them was screaming and crying while the other one cries in a soft tone as if he had trouble breathing.
"I think I'll name the quieter one Damon and the noisier one Daniel." The Queen said softly and tiredly.
"The Queen is tired. Give her some peace and quiet. Take the kids to the nursery." King Marcus ordered, his tone full of authority. The maid nodded an left the room, heading toward the nursery. Just as the maid set down the twins, the palace erupted into chaos. Alarms went off. Windows shattered. The rebels were in the palace! Palace guards rushed into the nursery to protect the newborn heirs, but the rebels were highly skilled and cut down the palace guards with no problem.
A half an hour later, the rebels retreated. Not because they had to, but because the damage was done. The royal family was safe and untouched. Unusual. Weird. Why? Why not kill them? Was that not their plan?
Sadly, the maid was killed in the raid, and she was the only one who knew which twin was older. So the heir to the throne remained unknown and mysterious.
Now the princes are nineteen, and were told to hold a selection. 30 girls, one crown.

I am a queen and that too not because of a stupid dynasty succession but because I made myself a Queen." Give this book a chance believe me it will be worth it. The story line begins from 10 years after klaus Mikaelson's death. It consists of characters from the vampire dairies and the originals. And it's okay if you haven't read or watched Harry Potter, I have explained references :) but this is more based on TVD and TO. This might not do justice to to storyline though 😜

" I lunge forward at him hitting his groin with my knee then right between the eyes. As soon as I do, he crashes to the ground, out cold. I go for more, but a pair of arms snatch my waist lifting me up. I kick my legs and flail my arms to get closer but he is too strong. "Let go of me!" I demand. "Shut up." A low strong voice commands."Is he okay?" "He is fine." I grunt. Then the young adult wakes up, then scurries back away from me. "Sorry ma'- miss... " he says, making me angry again. I give him a cold stare. "I'm sorry." He repeats, standing to his feet. "Put. Me. Down." I demand again. With a huff he puts me down. I step forward with full intentions to punch him again but the man behind me takes my arm, holding me back. I jerk forward to get off his grip but he takes my other arm tightly. "Alright! I'm done! I'm done!" I huff in defeat. " This story follows Astrid, a 26 year old female who ran away from home 10 years ago. The only reason she has come back was to get away from the hole she dug her self into. She is running away from her problems again. Life before she ran away wasn't as nice as the public saw it- the sherif's family, happy, and loving. Behind the doors it was orders being barked left and right with no warning or break. Not wanted to deal with this anymore, Astrid ran. On her voyage out, she ran into some trouble that seemed all fine until it wasn't. She comes back home and everything is all fine and dandy until, "Unknown: You thought you could hide forever? I found you, and I can find your friend, Nicole. If you want her safe, you'll be at the ring in an hour." Since Astrid's leave, the town suddenly had a motorcycle gang that hangs around, not realling doing anything in particular, but the sherif doesn't trust them much. I made my way to the kitchen as usual and opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. My mom was usually in here,preparing a snack for my brother and I but today she wasn't. To think of it,it was too quiet around here I then proceeded to go upstairs to my room as I know my brother has soccer practise and my dad is at work. I walked upstairs and passed my father's office and I heard some talking I then heard laughing,a woman laughing to be specific "Scott stop!" She laughed once again And i knew that,that was not my mother's voice. My heart broke when I realised my dad didn't actually love my mother. He was a cheater and after this i lost all respect for him. I stood outside the door for a good 10 minutes debating whether I should storm In there or just keep quiet about the whole thing. The laughing and talking went on and I decided it would be best if I walked away. Tears threatened to fall as I went to my bedroom. I actually looked up to my father. He was my superman. He got himself a good job,a beautiful wife,and started a beautiful family...only to find out it was all a lie. Is his wife even his wife? Are we even his children? And he payed for this with his life. Now she and her uncle are in London, so they can be closer to the school she's been attending since she was 11, and as far away from Klaus Mickelson as humanly possible. Plus, London is practically infested with walking blood-bags. The silver lining on this rather blood infested hell-hole she calls her life now; she's caught in an weird love triangle with two guys who are literally worst enemies, the similarities her love life shares with that of the Petrova doublegangers is actually sickening. Boy does Damon Salvatore have his hands full.

The guards grabbed me, forcing me to enter the room I didn't even want to be in. I didn't want to be here. I didn't want to be captured. And most of all I didn't want to see this mendacious pharaoh. I hated this man! Absolutely hated him. His eyes filled with intense hate as he stared at me. He looked at me with a bored expression on his face. "I thought I told you to bring me the rebel leader, not some vacuous little girl." Anger started boiling inside me. The guards were about to respond but I interrupted them. "Why Pharaoh! Thought-" I quickly covered my mouth realizing I had said to much. This isn't how I imagined the situation when I finally saw him again. I couldn't control my anger around him. The pharaoh's board expression turned into a more interested one. "You talk as if we have met before but I have absolutely no clue who you are! By all means I'm interested.... What are you called?" This was really bad! If I told him my name he would kill all of my comrades too. I had to lie... For their sake. "Neith..." The Pharaoh's eyes quickly snapped to me. "Let me rephrase my previous question... Tell me your FULL name and don't you dare give a fake one either or I will slaughter every single member of the rebel army... Even family members who weren't even involved will be killed." It was over! I couldn't let him kill all of those people. I guess my time was up now. He cornered me in to a wall.
