In a land of dragons, it's weary to know that one day you can end up as food for those above, that any day a dragon can come down from the sky and decide your fate. Those who wish to survive have to be resourceful, especially when even your own kind will throw you out to be food for the wolves. The main story for my OC Spirit. The other two Stories she is in are different AUs I'm exploring. Spirit, a Nightwing sandwing hybrid, attends jade mountain. She arrives at sundown with a seemingly fake reason for being late. It throws Sunny, her adopted aunt, into worry as it seems her niece has changed. But why? And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean. Brisktail spun around. His eyes scanned the leafless bushes behind him and he lifted his snout to scent the air. Dragonscent, he thought, catching the smell as the wind blew it to him. Even his keen eyes couldn't pick up the creature until it moved. A dragon emerged from the bushes. It was white with brown markings crisscrossing its scales. A row of long pearly quills ran from its head to its tail, and the dragon ducked its head so as to not catch its pronged horns on the bramble thorns. Yeah, I know yet another Wings of fire fanfic, and this time the MC is a SkyWing I'm sorry, but I just wanted to try this out for myself and write this. I hope you'll like it! Desc: Gemstone knew that she wasn't unique, but her friends and even her minidress kept telling her that she was indeed memorable. she had individual orange-red scales, and while this didn't seem different if you looked closely, you could see golden veins running through them. Kestrel, one of her minders and the dragon she was closest with of the adults, thought that she had gotten firesales, but it proved that Gemstone wanted one. She could touch the others without burning them to a crisp. But all her peace and training gets interrupted by an escape plan her friends are playing. While Gemstone is an unusual dragonet, she will discover that life isn't so dull after all.Complete
