"Do you even hear yourself? He is a stranger, you don't know him. You can't honestly sit here and act like you trust him." I had never seen him this mad, well at least not at me, but I wasn't backing down this time. "See that's your problem, all you see is the worst of people. How am I going to know if I can trust him if I don't even give him a chance." "No Amelia that's your problem. You have too much hope that everything is going to work out in your favor and all that's going to do is come back and bite you." ... Amelia Hope Wilson has lived the last 17 years of her life in ignorant bliss of her true family history. See what happens when this introvert and the school's problem child, Ian Grace, road trip across the country to find out the truth about the secrets she didn't know existed. (Sequel to Teacher's Pet. Can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading Teacher's Pet first)

The story is a little cringy at the start but it gets better when you are about chapter four. Sophia Raven is a sassy, but nice girl who happens to have an older brother. She's also friends with his best friend, Ryder Gray. They have deeper feelings for each other though. What happens at the end? --------------- Ryder is the first to break the silence. "I don't get it." I turn all my attention to him and ask "What do you not get?" "If they want so badly a man with money to date you, then why can it not be me?" He asks as if it's the simplest thing. "They want me to date a millionaire, and I do not want to bruise your ego, but you are not one." I tell him while covering us with my comforter. "Don't insult me." He says while pulling me closer. He places a kiss to the crown of my head. "I'm a billionaire."
