"You're everything I need in my life, Rosie," he whispered before he fell asleep with his arms wrapped around me.
Well apparently I wasn't, because when I woke up his spot in the bed next to me was cold and empty, and so was my heart.
Five years later...
"Oh my goodness ,Rosie, he proposed!" my best friend Jill screamed at me right when I opened the door. Her boyfriend of a year proposed to her, and me, her best friend, had yet to meet him.
"Jill, that's amazing, but will I ever actually meet your mystery man?"
"He's actually on a phone call right outside. He should be in here any minute." I was really curious to see who this amazing man was after all this time. DING. I turned around to grab my phone right as her fiancé walked in.
"Hey baby, you can finally meet Rosie!" Jill squealed excitedly.
I turned around excited to meet him, but my face instantly fell when I recognized those perfect green eyes.
"Rosie."
