3 Teams: Mystic, Valor and Instinct clash on the ice, 3 NHL Teams from Team Valor and Team Mystic go head-to-head.
It all begins when Vladdy Namestnikov and his Eevee faceoff against Brendan Gallagher and his Raticate, while Pekka Rinne and his Sandshrew battle against Ryan Kesler and his Golduck and Valeri Nichushkin and his Squirtle go against Justin Abdelkader and his Combusken; Vladdy's Eevee is captured, Pekka's Sandshrew is injured and Val's Squirtle is severely injured as well. Vladdy, himself is injured in the process of trying to rescue his Eevee. His teammates attempt to nurse him back to health, but he wants to find his Eevee and get him back. Together, Vladdy and his friends, along with Val and Pekka talk to their teams, who unite as Team Mystic to take down Team Valor, consisting of Montreal, Detroit and Anaheim players, who all want nothing more than to destroy the NHL and capture all the Pokemon for themselves.

A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel?
