It seems to last a lifetime, my body craved his thumb grazing along the skin of my neck. I snap out of it when he mumbles quietly, close to my ear so his breath trickles subtly over my neck.
"You should probably ice that."
My eyes catch his for a second, a whirl of emotions in them that I don't know how to decipher.
So I whisper quietly back, afraid if I spoke too loud, it might disrupt this look he was giving me.
