Set generations after a plaque wiped out most of humanity, a small group of survivors are attempting to rebuild a form of civilisation. However, when survivors fleeing a murderous gang turns up, a war is started. 

In order to survive, they must band together with old and new friends, bandits, and travellers. Otherwise, their hope for a new world will be smashed.

Crushingly godlike the overseer seems, yet doesn't squash what makes for even a band of strangers - bonds, perseverance, will and morality. Not a game when it's your life. May the heartiest prevail. Similar to Gantz and The hunger games.
