Shadows.

They are all around us, following our footsteps wherever we may go. They could not be controlled as if they had a mind of their own...

Until one pale-blue-eyed girl made them her puppets. She'd play with them, dance with them like they were actual people. The hazy figures were her friends. She hadn't know something like this was out of the ordinary until she discovered from a shimmering black scaled dragon that it was magic.

She became a shadow dragon slayer.

One twilight the dragon was nowhere to be found, leaving the small girl with only her shadows to turn to.

She'd roamed about looking for her lost mother figure of a dragon, and with each passing moment, her shadow's demons were eating at her mental state alive. That is...until she stumbled upon a guild called Fairy Tail.
