After a night of partying Abby wakes up in the basement of her best friend's house remembering the horrid night before. The night of when people suddenly became aggressive and started to bite each other creating a chaos.

When Abby climbs out of the basement, the house is partly destroyed and without any signs of life so she decides to walk into the street looking for anyone she knew. And as she did the whole neighborhood was mostly on fire and the houses were destroyed. She turned around looking at her sorroundings asking herself what went on while she was out.

After looking for a car she finds one and she climbs on board begining to drive towards the city.

It was her biggest mistake because her car gets raided by aggressive people and with a chance she had she got out of the car with them chasing after her. And as she runs across the streets she is almost ran over by a young man who kindly allows her in his truck and made their way out of the city and into the closest town looking for answers of what was happenning.

Soon they know that what had happened was a spreading virus, making people very agressive and hungry for flesh, and just with a bite or scratch you become infected as well. Abby and her new friend must learn how to survive and protect eachother because this so called virus is spreading quickly and almost everyone is gone.

And as they search for a refuge and as the days pass they get to know each other, and maybe fall in love?

Soon when they adjust to their new refuge and decide to look for survivors among the living dead (if any).
