Ruth is the Clown Prince of Crime's daughter. But she doesnt know it. Joker has been looking for her desprately since he lost her. When he does find her he finds out that she is 'daughter' to the one and only Bruce Wayne. How will he get her back and how will she take the news? And will she go the same path as her father?

What if Joker had a daughter? One raised by Gotham... She was abandoned. She's angry. She want's revenge. She hates her father... But does this mean she works with the side of the Angels? Well, let's just say, there's a reason her name is Sanity. --Note-- This story is going to be re-written eventually, while this story will be up until the other version is finished (I won't be publishing it until then) this story will be deleted once that is done. There will be notice for that, so you know what is happening, but chances are you may need to re-read the book a second time following this. Especially, since I plan on actually having a sequel to this one complete eventually. --As a side note-- Only 5 characters are my own: Sanity, Ryu, Avalon, Jeremiah, Genevieve. All other characters belong to DC, I cannot stress that enough. In addition to this I have also used actual quotes from the Original Comics for the characters that have said them, as well as used some of the same origins/storylines to give the other characters (DC's) more of an identity e.g. 'Death in the Family' storyline// Where Joker kills Jason... Or 'A Killing Joke' storyline//Barbara getting put in a wheelchair and the Joker's Origin... Finally, the Joker's 'real' name//'Batman Mask of the Phantasm'. There are other parts as well but those are the main ones and a few of the examples. (I don't know if the 'Batman Mask of the Phantasm' is the actual title to the animated movie but it is close enough, I think.) Won 2nd place in the 2015 undiscovered contest.Complete

Carter Gordon is the 22 year old daughter of Captain James Gordon, of the Gotham City Police Department. She works at Wayne Enterprises as Bruce Wayne's personal assistant. She also knows his secret. That he is Batman. It is a secret that she plans to take with her to her grave. She is also hopelessly in love with her boss. But, living in Gotham City, her love life is on the back burner of things to worry about. She has lived in Gotham all her life, and has seen the worst the city had to offer. She thinks that there is nothing more that the city can do to shock her. Until now. When a new villain, calling himself "The Joker", shows up, she is put in more danger than she could ever dream of. Not only is she already in the spotlight as Bruce's personal assistant, she is also well know throughout the city as the Gordon's daughter, thus making her a prime target for the Joker's crimes. Gotham mourns the billionaire, but also knowing the the Bat has suddenly disappeared, the city is a wreck. The only protectors of the city is the family Bruce built. His family didn't take the news very well, especially his biological son, Damian Wayne. He still continues his journey as the boy wonder. In his recent acts, he has been more violent. Bruce's death has torn the Bat Family apart, leaving the boy alone with Alfred Pennyworth. He never expected to enjoy the manservants company but he would prefer his family to be with him too. They are rarely at the manor anymore, mostly because it felt empty without Bruce there. One night, the boy wonder crosses paths with a thief that he has ran into once before. He never got her name and never bothered to look into it. The last time he's seen her, his father was still alive. The last time he's seen her, she was stealing something small. What happens when he finds out that this thief is one no other than the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker? What makes the girl so special? (I do not own the characters in the book.
