Het management van de populaire boyband "One Direction" heeft een briljant idee om de jongens niet alleen op de radio en Spotify bekend te maken, namelijk een eigen show op tv, genaamd "The battle of the best member". Wat de titel al zegt, in dit programma strijden de jongens om de titel 'het beste lid'. Maar dat doen ze niet alleen, dat doen ze samen met een willekeurig meisje uit UCL, ofwel "University College Londen". De meisjes worden uitgekozen uit een ouderwetste manier, simpelweg: een loterij. Na de loterij worden de 4 teams verplaatst naar ieder een andere, geheime plaats. De ijzige sneeuwvlaktes in Greenland, de warme gebieden in Egypte, de tropische regenwouden in Brazilië of de stille kusten op Paaseiland. Eenmaal op hun plaats krijgen ze een kaart waarmee ze naar een bepaalde plaats moeten wandelen. Welk team het minst tijd nodig heeft om hun finish te bereiken wint. Maar de tocht zit vol gevaren. Er spelen twee vragen door hun hoofd: Hoe moeten ze overleven? Maar vooral: Am i in l-o-v-e ?

Direction Hater
Directionators and Directioners: terms known well in the fan fiction, tumblr, twitter, and internet world. Those are the two distinct groups surrounding One Direction, but Marissa isn't either of those. Marissa is a Direction Hater. She can't stand to listen to their music, and she doesn't understand the hype surrounding the boys. They, afterall to Marissa, are just a phase the girls are going through. Within a months time Mariss thinks the crazed phase will pass, and everyone will be back to normal. After arriving at school one day, she is appalled to see that the boys are hosting a signing and concert on the last day of school at her school. Her best friend Bethany, is a senior and obsessed with One Direction, along with most of every other girl in the school. Marissa is sucked in by her best friend to help her with scrapbooks, and T-shirts for the last day of school. Bethany even persuades Marissa to go to the signing with her. Most girls, fans or not, usually will talk to them or just say hi. The boys brush it off, but Niall doesn't. What happens when your underage, your mom is The Wanted and One Direction's manager and your forced to live in the UK? Well for me it means I'm forced to skip my last year of high school. Hi the name's Alex, Alex Cruz short for Alexandria Skye Cruz but everyone calls me Alex. I hate my full name. I know what your gonna say 'Alexandria is a beautiful name what kinda girl wouldn't like that name' yeah? Well I'm that girl. I only like her when she sends me chocolate and V.I.P passes to the VMAs every year. It's honestly annoying how much time she spends over there in the UK all because of that boyband and now to add to more of the annoyingness she's now managing One Direction too. Yippee! NOT I mean they're hot and everything and their music is great but I absolutely hate them all 10 of those sexy guys. It's the end of the summer and guess how I'm spending it? With my mother in the UK with One Direction AND The Wanted. A whole year in the freaking UK with none of my friends, no turtles, no sun, nobody who gets me, and I'm missing my senior year. I would sit in the audience and he would have to try and find me before the end of the show. If he did he would have to do something really weird we agreed upon while on stage. But as One Direction became more famous, tickets became more expensive and I wasn’t going to rely on Harry paying for every live show I attended. So I would visit a couple of times, I met the boys a few times and they were really lovely, but it wasn’t enough to keep the relationship Harry and I had as strong as it was. I get an occasional “Hey” text every month or so, but I haven’t seen him in about 2 years. Living right next to the Style/Cox household, I see Anne and Gemma all the time, but the few times that Harry came home, I was either on vacation or in college in the states. Harry was my best friend, but it seems like every day, the hope that we will go back to the old days comes slighter. But, little did Harry know, I was coming back into his life, well I didn’t technically know either. With my long blonde hair that reached the small of my back, dip dyed pink and purple at the ends instead of my short hair that stopped just after my shoulder blades.
