The Stars Descend

Millennia ago, legends arose, illuminating the stars' ascent to The Land Beyond Cloud. Some claim that the pale lights, which adorn the night sky like diamonds would a work of fine silk, dwell as what remains of forsaken heroes cast away by the cowardly folk of Thaer. In more recent times, it would seem that the stars have multiplied. Yet, the newly arrived gleam with a cold light - a distant and lonely ambiance. As a result, rumors have spread that the Queen banished all Thaeren rebels to linger evermore alongside the forsaken heroes. Cursing them to live out their sentence, suspended in time. Nevertheless, the ancient magic which binds them dwindled over the ages, and the time shall soon come when the barrier fractures... and the stars descend.
