I was that weird, socially awkward homeschooled kid. I was a afraid of talking to people with not a lot of self confidence. Finally my parents decided "hey, homeschool isn't working!" And thus I was stuck in the great school of grace land high.

I knew there was always something special about me. I knew I was different from all the other girls. I could feel things before they actually happened, hear things nobody else could. I wasn't normal, there was just something there. In no way though, had I expected to be told that not, was I only half human, but 50% angel, and not an angel of heaven. A fallen angel, damned, yet given a second chance to make things right, to be rescued before taking the wrong turn in my life that shamed me from my existence in heaven. Only problem, someone wants me to stay damned, to never become the angel I was meant to be. They'll stop at nothing to kill me, plus I have no clue what exactly I'm fighting against and on top of it all I am nothing without my locket. My locket is my true source of power, it's what kept me alive that terrible night.

Who knew running away from girls would be so difficult ? It's almost impossible when you're in a school mostly made up of girls . "I'm not making friends with any girl at all or even talk to them . I don't want to risk falling in love again" . I could feel my heart trying to tell me something that I did not understand . My heart was saying something and whatever it was saying was going to change something in my life . Something special about this new friend and I have no idea what.

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.

Brandon: I finally told her I loved her in 8th grade. She rejected me for the school douch. I was heartbroken. BJ: 8th grade year I was not the prettiest girl ever. I've always been cute I guess...but I wasn't super popular and amazing to hang out with. Brandon was like my best friend. I loved him so much. Mathew, the most popular guy in school, asked me out. I journeyed on with my life. Apparently, we didn't moved to the US as we planned to do. So all that drama for nothing. Grade 11 or AKA Senior High School started sooo: New friends, new teachers, a new building, and another girl that managed to unconsciously take my heart.

Sitting by myself, my feet stuck in the cool water of the little stream, I tried, for the ten millionth time, to reason out why I had to have these problems. I was just a normal everyday kid, no better, no worse than most. I didn't do drugs, I didn't smoke or drink. I worried about my grades and my lack of six pack abs and if I was ever gonna get any taller or grow any hair on my chest. No earthshaking stuff, but important to me.

I knew I was a freak, I'm weird not stupid - even if I did act like it half the time. It wasn’t normal to be like me, to be afraid of things everyone loves, needs to survive even.
