I was there. I watched the moment Oikawa Tooru and his teammates lost to Karasuno High School in the Spring High semifinals. From the moment it bounced on the floor, the deafening thunder of the ball ended the intense game. The heavy feeling of defeat drowned out their screams and shouts of victory.
It's over ... It's all over.

(There are a few alterations of the timings of the events from the original series; one of which being that the finals match between Karasuno and Shiratorizawa doesn't happen until several weeks after the Karasuno vs. Seijoh match, while in both the original manga and anime it takes place on consecutive days.)

I do not own Haikyuu!!; I only claim the storyline as my own. I am using Furudate Haruichi's characters for my own story plot, separate from the Haikyuu!! manga where they came from.
