After Wilson was taken into the "Don't Starve World" by Maxwell, he'd encountered monsters along the way, and most of them would attack him. Of course there were monsters that didn't attack him, and he met many. But one he kept on thinking about. One monster that kept on following him around, and never attacked him. He had thought about this for a long time, and he finally decided to confront the creature.
