New campers, from all different types of godly parents, have been flocking into Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter, so much so that Chiron and Reyna have been talking about building another camp for both Greek and Roman demigods. The Gods have been coming down to visit their children, and there hasn't been any major attacks on the demigod world, yet.

Nathan Lorde is a incoming freshman at Goode High School. Nathan, born in Great Britain before moving to Egypt then New York, is fifteen years old and lives with his two mortal parents, Alexis and Robert Lorde, both very influential politicians. However, as the school year begins, Nathan begins to notice that something is off in the mortal world: monsters are being seen by mortal eyes, mortals are picking up Celestial Bronze weapons, and other supernatural events are being noticed by mortals.
