Skyler lives on the Hawaiian island of Lanai, which wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't a 20 year old mess up. Her dad left when she was little, her mom died two years ago and her big sister is a total work alcoholic. Skyler is also terrified of getting too close but refuses to be all alone. Her big sister, Alysha, is the only person that Skyler truly loves and trust. The only escape Skyler can find from her messed up world is to run away when she is confronted with things or paint landscapes she wishes she could go. Skyler wants to run away from this place and nobody understands why any one would want to leave such a beautiful paradise.
