In this world there are Others, Children of Twilight. Humans with supernatural abilities. Some are Light. While some are Dark. Each unique in ability and strength.
A disturbing case takes the attention of the Nightwatch. Seven Others, regardless of Light and Dark, had gone missing without a trace throughout Minnesota. Unable to find any leads to these disappearances, the Watch appoints officer Will Graham, a Light Other with Dark Other abilities, to the case. These disappearances also catch the attention of the Daywatch who is also looking into it. The two Watches reluctantly decide they must work together pairing one of their own, a Doctor Hannibal Lecter, with Graham. Tensions are high and trust is nowhere to be found.
A child lost will soon be found again.

Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...
