Aurelie dreams of what lies in the town she's known for so long. The secrets that can only be unlocked with age catch her eye. (Even if she's a stranger to them.)
When the childhood friends experience loss, Aurelie wants to save Koen from himself and preserve her feelings for someone else. Little does she know, Koen plans on digging them out, to make her happy like she used to be. The energy conserving Koen and the curious and adventurous Aurelie walk side by side for years, determined to stay the same while the scenery ever changes behind them, full of watercolors and broken pieces.
