The Butterfly Effect. The theory that a butterfly can flap its wings and the tiny changes that causes to the atmosphere can cause a tsunami halfway around the globe. The theory that every single decision you make, no matter how tiny or seemingly random and insignificant it may seem, effects your future. If you hadn't made the decision to go out that Friday night you could have fallen in love with someone completely different. The decision to run that extra lap around the park can prevent you from getting that flat tire and being late for dinner. Every decision you make sets the stage for events in your future.

What if, however, you could change these decisions? What if you could go back and go out that Friday night? Everything could be different... But is different really better?

Samantha Donavan would do almost anything to change what happened that day. That fateful day, on Christmas Eve, a series of several decisions led to an awful tragedy that changed her life completely. When she stumbles across some old books in her grandfather's basement she realizes that all these events were triggered by previous events that eventually led to the tragic event that destroyed her life. She also discovers that she maybe able to do something about it... However, as Sam soon discovers, messing with the past can have dangerous consequences for the future. Nothing is random. The future is unpredictable.

The Focus Effect

38 parts Complete

I see the world through different eyes--literally. Some people would say I have it all. I'm smart, have popular friends and my parents are loaded. One deadly weekend at the family lake house changes all that. When I wake up in a strange facility in the middle of nowhere, I'm told that I'm being held for the public's safety and that I've been given a gift. I can see threads of light around objects that can be manipulated to change ordinary things into new and, sometimes, unworldly contraptions. But to call it a gift? It's actually pretty freaky. But the facility director has got to be the worst. He's completely obsessed with unlocking my abilities, not to mention he's a psychopath. To make matters worse, there's this boy I like. I just wish I knew if I could trust him or not. Or maybe the better question is--can he trust me? I almost forgot to tell you the craziest part of all. I'm radioactive.
