Have you ever heard of the legend of the red string? Imagine your body is transparent. You will see that your whole body is connected by your blood vessels. They transport blood from your heart to all your body parts. They are so thin like strings. Since they carry blood, hence the red string. Did you know that there is a special connection between your heart and your pinky finger? The reason why we use our pinky to make promises is because of this special connection. The red string starts from our heart and just doesn't end at the tip of our finger. The legend says that the red string continues but it becomes invisible outside our body. It is connected to the person we are destined to meet, our soulmate. No matter how far he or she is or how your life circumstances differ sooner or later, the string of fate will lead you to him or her. When that happens, both of your lives will change. The string may stretch and be tangled, which may postpone the fateful meeting but never will they ever be broken. We might not realize it but we are all connected, guided by invisible strings that are woven into the fabric of universe itself. We will meet others as we unravel our tangled strings and the red thread that connecting us to our distant soul-mates is getting shorter. Our world has its share of obstacles, but nothing in it happens by accident.

This a story of two souls meeting in the most expected times of their lives. They fit together so perfectly and their connection was different from all the other relationships they had been in. However, one of them is in a relationship she cannot seem to get out of. Will they stay together or will they go separate ways? Read as their story unfolds as easy as ABC. ***** The first time I saw you in school, the gay girl inside of me was not screaming, not that you were horrible, unattractive or unappealing (you were the opposite) but I was too focused on something else. The first time I took notice of you was when I first heard your voice. It was June, the first day of a communication class. We were given the task to introduce ourselves in front of the class for one minute. Of course, I went first and I was trying to be the one oozing with confidence. Everyone introduced themselves and in my memory they were all in a blur. Until, you spoke, you blew me away not because of your introduction but because of your voice. You sounded so manly which was a little too far from what you look like. The first time I talked to you was at the library and a glass wall was hindering us from hearing each other clearly. It was crazy that I really talked to you afterwards. It was weird too. 🙈😂 The first time we actually had a good conversation was the night before your birthday. It was special because we truly did connect. That was the moment where it all started. Will you let go when everything feels so wrong already?

[ The modern-day Bonnie and Clyde ] . . . . Legend has it that there's an intangible red string that binds two souls destined to be together. No matter the time, place, or circumstance, nothing can break the invisible thread between those two people who are meant to be together. That's what it was like between her and I-an instant connection, like we'd always been together. .. .. She and I, both from traumatized families, found comfort in one another. The girl with the letterman jacket and charismatic smile. And me, her bohemian princess. The invisible string pulling us to one another despite the danger our love created. The town whispered about us. Our parents threatened us to stay away from one another. They tried to cut the string and keep us apart. We simply tied it in chaotic knots, with no hope for ever separating them. .. .. Will our unbreakable bond uphold the chaos fate brought us, or will our love bleed into a pool of crimson?
