Jacen's mom and dad split years ago. Both of them were in up and coming rock bands, brought together by a love of music, but when Jacen was born, mom gave up her dreams to be a full time mom. Dad didn't.
Now, years later, 16 year old Jacen is about to spend the summer on tour with her dad, who's not one of the world's most successful musicians, and she's not sure how to feel about it.
The catch? Her dad is Mark Hoppus.
