Charlie, a nineteen-year-old girl, has been on her own for five months during the zombie-apocalypse in America. She drives around Georgia in her old Ford pick-up truck and slays the zombies she comes across, while trying to escape her bloody past. She meets three people - Tyler, Jack and a little girl Tessa - and they decide to combine forces.
What happens when Charlie does her utter best to ignore and hide her past, but she becomes closer to Tyler, Jack and Tessa? What happens when they decide to help a pregnant woman and have to face all of the daily dangers?
