She would wait until her parents left to tend to the problems of their kingdom, and she would go up to the surface. She would watch the people on the pier, oh how she loved to do that. One day she sees this boy sitting at the end of the dock by himself...

Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water.
