In which 16 year-old Ruby Johnson is troubled by her unknown past. Due to her being adopted, she has no clue where she comes from and that causes so much confusion in her life. Living the good life with wealthy parents doesn't phase her, it makes her unhappier to be clear. All she wants is to belong somewhere but by the kind of people that she is surrounded with it's nearly impossible. That's why any chance she can take to go where she belongs and find out who she is, she takes. Even if it's not in her best interest.
And that chance she gets lies in the hands of somebody who doesn't like her one bit. Why? She doesn't know. But everything is possible if you strive hard enough.
