Jaxon was the Alpha king. Ruler of the Royal Pack. No one dared to disobey him. He was ruthless and gave mercy to no one. He was number one and would settle for nothing else. It was in his family's blood, it was in his.

After years of searching for his mate, he came to the conclusion that he had no mate. He gave up hope. And soon, the last thing on his mind was a mate. He figured it was for the best. A ruler like him didn't need someone to hold him back, is what he told him self.

But deep down, he was broken. He craved for the touch of his mate. His dream was to hold her in his arms. He wanted to have children with her and eventually pass on the crown to his own child.

But he let go of hope in finding her.
