YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...
18 months have passed since the Female Titan incident within Wall Sina. The Survey Corps have conducted an Expedition to take back Wall Maria from the titans once and for all. However, when new foes and unexpected allies appear in the 65th Expedition, will conquering Wall Maria finally become a reality, or another miserable failure for the Survey Corps?
Four unlikely friends will have to face death, trauma, and all the other monsters the dark underbelly of the world has to offer. Loyalty, bravery, and togetherness will be the only things keeping them from falling apart.
Broken_Shadows72 here! :) As you've already read earlier (or...at least I hope you read the description, how else would you have gotten this far down?), this is a co-written story, so the point of views will jump from one person to another. We'll elaborate more in between chapters to make it easier to understand. I really hope you enjoy this story! This is my first personal attempt at creative writing for public view, and it's been really fun! Happy reading!

Peace is fleeting. In the year 845, my home was stolen from me. The thieves were taller than houses and had an appetite for humans. All I could do was run away. However, things have changed since then. I trained for three years as a cadet and joined the Scouts. I am determined to get my home back - get my peace back. Darkness. That's all I could see. Everywhere I looked, the inky blackness engulfed my vision. I squinted, searching for any speck of light, but found nothing. "Hello?!" My shouts echoed unanswered into the void. Panic rose as the darkness pressed down. I was alone here, floating in nothingness. I racked my aching mind, trying to recall how I came to be trapped in this endless night. Then, I heard it. A voice, calling my name. It repeated like a broken record, pleading for me to wake up. Could I be...dead? Slowly, I opened my eyes, wincing as sunlight flooded in through a nearby window. Blinking, I took in my surroundings - a hospital room. I glanced right to see cabinets stocked with medicine, then left, where a familiar pair of dull gray eyes met my violet ones. Relief, care, guilt, and confusion swirled in those stormy irises. This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. Then I will go into a time skip after developing the relationship between the reader and Levi as he helps the reader through their depression, I just wanted to get some background into the story first since it's important to how the reader ends up meeting Levi. Another thing I wanted to point out is that I know that the scouts didn't live in the abandoned castle until after they got Eren in the Survey Corps however I set the story there the majority of the time since I have no clue where they lived before and this is my story so I'll do what I want XD. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut. And it drives him craaazyyy I know many of you think that dating Levi Ackerman would be the best thing in life but I honestly think that it would come with many-many complications.
