Demi suffers terribly from self-hatred. nobody knows why she is so sad, why she despises every inch of herself so much. One day she just cant take it anymore, and her best friend Ari finds her on the floor of her apartment, her clothes drenched in her own blood, with a sharp knife in her hand. Demi has a close rendezvous with death itself.

She survives her attempt at suicide, and her beloved and loyal friends, Zayn, Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall try their best to pacify the fatal hatred that Demi has for herself. But despite their efforts, Demi doesn't seem to come right.
The only choice she has, is to become her own hero....Can she do it, or will she buckle under all the hate she carries with her?
