Based on the Five Nights at Freddy's 4 lore, Phantom in the Field revolves around the story Samuel, the crying child, and his struggle to cope with the events of the past that have long tormented his mind.

He knows what went down in Fredbear's, and unless Samuel is successful in evading the madness, it will happen again.
