Novella Quill never wanted to become an alicorn. 

Two years have passed since regular unicorn Twilight Sparkle became a princess, and Novella was living a normal life in Trottingham with her brother Riff Acoustica, the guitarist for the famous rock band 'Frantic Gallop'. One day, while attempting a spell for Riff's birthday, she suddenly found she'd said the wrong words - and she had given herself wings! 

With The Monks - a group of unicorn ponies dedicated to finding Alicorns - chasing her, trying to reveal that she was an alicorn, Novella and Riff were forced to flee their home in Trottingham and go to the one place Novella thought she'd find help: Ponyville.

Meanwhile, in Ponyville, everything isn't as normal as it could be. With newcoming blank-flank - and notorious troublemaker - Chocolate Pudding on the way, the residents of Ponyville are in for a wild ride of action, love, partying and new friendship.
