The Spider Diaries [FIRST DRAFT]

52 parts Complete

Jane Mercury, a.k.a 'Spider', doesn't have anyone. Her father left her when she was five, and her mother, a passionate journalist, obligated to travel far distances, leaves Jane alone. Colby, the only person who has been there for her since her dad left, died in a motor accident. Horrible truths come to light. And when she thinks she's hit rock bottom, life hands her a jackhammer, dynamite and a hardhat. Please note: I wrote this story between the ages of 14 and 16. Please be kind. [This story is set in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.] [Warnings: Mild language and underwear involved. If you don't enjoy those things then it's my suggestion you don't read this novel. You have been warned.]
