Forgotten Memories
Living in a small town means there's not many surprises. You know everybody, have done everything, and nothing is new. Although some people like living in a quaint, peaceful town, others don't. Lily was one of the ones who enjoyed the plain life. Lillian Simmons has lived in Avalon, Florida all her life, and she is perfectly okay it. She's always been different than the other girls, though, and doesn't even look normal. Her biggest dream has always been to be normal but.. she never will be. However, her view on what is "normal" changes once a certain egotistical boy moves into town. Logan Parker causes nothing but trouble. All the girls fawn over him - except for Lily. She tries to avoid him because she's afraid of what might happen, but she can't defy fate. When life suddenly changes from bad to worse the only thing to do is move forward in hopes that you will stumble upon better things. This is what Lily tells her children when their lives are turned upside down. Leaving behind a life of turmoil and abuse they journey west. What Lily finds is a community who take in her and her children as if they always belonged. What she doesn't expect is the man that shows up one day and changes her life all over again. Will he be a good man or will he bring back her worst nightmares? I have been slowly updating when I can. So the story has changed here and there. I feel it still needs somethings, but I don't want to make too many changes to the chapters I have already published without some feed back. Flower Girls
Caroline loves her new friend Lily. They do almost everything together. But as time goes on, it becomes more and more apparent that Lily is not everything she seems to be. Where did Lily come from, what is she hiding, and what's the real reason for their intense friendship? For those of you who are already familiar with my writing, I should let you know that this short story is nothing like anything else I've written. I wrote it as a birthday gift for a ten-year-old girl. She devoured the whole thing in couple of hours and when she finished, she told me she loved it. This ten-year-old girl is very girly, she likes unicorns and rainbows and magical worlds, but she also likes Sci-Fi and scary, threatening bad guys. As a result, the genre of this book is quite niche, and it may not be appropriate for every ten-year-old. There are some confrontations I would categorise as "mild peril." Spoiler Alert: If you're a parent looking for something for a child of a similar age, there are two deaths in this book and so you may want to check it out first because I recognise every child is different. (The girl I wrote is for said they weren't graphic deaths, and she was fine with both in the context of the story.) Anyway, she asked me to put it out there for others to enjoy, so ... enjoy.Complete

Lily, a five year old child loses her parents in a horrible accident. Afterwords she is forced to live with her Grandmother who works all the time and has no time for a child. Lily, not knowing what really happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.Complete
