When the Doctor gets a Time Lord distress call from a city built on a barren planet, he finds a woman being the caller and not a time lord. When the Doctor finds out about this womans past, there is more to this planets history than he first thought. What's even stranger is the woman. Who is she? What has she done? Most importantly, how is this a romance story?

(Do bear with me, as the first few short chapters are quite stupid, but trust me it gets much better. I really don't feel like rewriting the first part since this is going to be my first finished book.)

For all you long time Whovians. I may be incorporating some 1970's doctor who.^^

I wrote this book when I turned 14 and let me tell you, comparing my writing now to back then, its 50% better (Idfk tbh). Set after Timelash but before the Trial of a Time Lord, Peri has been traveling with the Doctor for some time. However, when a perfectly normal day takes a catastrophic turn for the worst, the Doctor is forced to make a massive sacrifice in order to save his companions life. Suddenly alone and trapped in a universe almost the same but also very different from her own, Peri finds herself face to face with someone she never expected to see again, living a very different life, with a very different Doctor. This may have been the life she had wanted once, such a long time ago, but now she missed her own life.... her own Doctor. Can she find a way to turn things back to how they were? or will she have to learn to live with the universe the way it has now become. This story is told through Peri's own eyes and memories as both the story of her new life and how it came about are gradually revealed, culminating in a dramatic conclusion and a choice Peri never expected to be forced to make.

The doctor hasn't been the same for some time now, she is absent and rarely takes her "Fam" on an adventure. Yaz, Ryan, and Graham decide to confront her. When suddenly the alarm of the Tardis goes off, they go on a new discovery tour. In search of the reason for this, the doctor meets an old friend again, Jack. He has a new partner, a young girl. She seems to know a lot about the doctor and his enemies, which is what worries the doctor and her companions. When Jack has to come to terms with the truth about the last years, especially about his new companion, the doctor also starts to have doubts about the real reason for their reunion. -Disclaimer- I apologize if there is a spelling mistake somewhere. Just write it in the comments and I will correct it as soon as possible. This is the first Wattpad Story I have ever written so I apologize if it is bad. Enjoy =) I changed the original story of Doctor Who a bit so that it fits with my storyline. The rights to all characters in this story (except Morgan) belong to BBC.

She didn't plan on falling for him. Somehow, it happens anyway.

And I don't want to re-write too many episodes, so if no one ever reads this I never will, except maybe the regeneration episode when that comes out. River is the Doctor's wife, so this story will have very little romance, sorry.
