When the Doctor gets a Time Lord distress call from a city built on a barren planet, he finds a woman being the caller and not a time lord. When the Doctor finds out about this womans past, there is more to this planets history than he first thought. What's even stranger is the woman. Who is she? What has she done? Most importantly, how is this a romance story?

(Do bear with me, as the first few short chapters are quite stupid, but trust me it gets much better. I really don't feel like rewriting the first part since this is going to be my first finished book.)

So the Doctor does not meet Rose in this story, but instead embarks on a journey where this companion has some interesting surprises in store.
