A Werewolf Boy

They were children of the Moon. A race created by the most high to protect the mundane and vulnerable. For centuries, the beasts of the night watched over the weak humans. And in return, the Moon blessed each individual beast with a soulmate and a bond so powerful, not even the most spiritually strong could break it.

And so the story begins with a young boy and his grandfather. They lived together in solitude, on a land where no human dared to set foot on. The small child aged slowly - so slowly that he soon ceased to age altogether. Years later, his grandfather set out on a short journey back to human civilization, only to be killed by a mysterious force.

From that day on, the boy vowed to avenge his death by all means and become everything the old man had wished for him and more. He became determined to build an empire. An empire by which could only be fit for a king himself and his subjects. Nothing but the best would suffice under his scrutiny.

The boy grew to become so strong that the magnitude of his strength could only be compared to that of a thousand men. Both physically and intellectually, he earned the Moon's favor and thus became no match for any opposing packs.

But one fateful evening, a girl unknowingly wandered onto the land of the Beast. A weak and vulnerable girl was all she was, but she captivated him. Her every detail, move, and breath ensnared his cold heart.

He was sworn to protect her under the Moon, but found himself complying to the Moon's wish all too soon.

And after hundreds of years, this boy was finally becoming a man.
