I've been very fortunate to wander this big old world and experience many things. I was born with an eclectic taste in music and a nomadic take on all that life has to show me. The stories that form the "Without A Song Trilogy" are centred within the expatriate world of the defence contractor. My stories are set in the southwestern region of Asir at a mountain airbase. Close to Saudi Arabia's southern border with Yemen, I spent thirty months in this wonderful countryside and within these pages, you will find many scenes that I witnessed or was part of from my time within that world.

Steven Bannister hears the news of his wife's infidelity in the worst way, in an email from a friend. Stuck three thousand miles away from her there's not much he can do about it so he takes matters into his hands. He gets drunk, cracks his head open and wakes up in the arms of a beautiful woman. She is Nicole, a nurse from the military hospital. It's not the easiest thing to drop everything and run home from Saudi to sort out your marriage in England but that is what Stephen tries to do. In so doing he must battle demons inside his head, a beautiful new love and the prospect of leaving everything in England behind forever. Love hurts. It can break you, heal you and put you on a pedestal. Mind your footing.
