"Go! Just go away!" His deep, shaky voice screamed through the chaos as I ran down the hall. I turned around one last time, as large fists grasped the air behind me, making me shriek through the darkness. I kept running. 'In. Out. In. Out.' I thought while looking down at my bloody legs and ripped jeans. Smoke filled the spaces around me, blood splattered across the room like red daggers, gun shots blasted across the building, and I kept running. Nothing could make me stop now. I knew I would never be safe again.
