Elif Yildirim ist ein hübsches, nettes, hilfsbereites Mädchen. Sie ist klug, witzig, jedoch wird sie oft als arrogant eingeschätzt, was sie bei Personen die sie nicht besonders mag auch ist. Sie ist 16 1/2 aber sagt lieber das sie 17 ist weil sie es auch bald wird.
In den Ferien erhofft sie sich Erholung, welche sie am Tag auch bekommt, aber sobald es dunkel wird beginnt der Horror für sie. Ihr Cousin Cihan (17) und ihr großer Bruder Görkem (19) bekommen von all dem sehr wenig mit obwohl die immer zusammen unterwegs sind.
Was wird Elif wohl erwarten? Was geschieht Nachts nur? Wen wird sie alles kennenlernen? Was wird sie alles erleben?

From then on I'll be adding more story parts every Tuesday and Friday until the story is complete. I aim to give each chapter a subtitle that's part teaser, part summary. As in: gamer girl - chapter one whereby gamer girl Zoey realizes that her gaming buddy Eli has older brothers who should be shot. Hint: not a problem I'll also be swapping out cover designs a lot - mainly because I can't stay away from the glorious beast that is Photoshop. I'd love to hear cover comments as well as story ones and seeing as I'm new to wattpad I'd love some recs when it comes to places to ogle and improve on coverart. A final note on spelling. I write for three different markets - The UK, the USA and AUS. This story is set in Australia so Aussie slang it is, but the spelling is American English. A delayed flight. A stranger at a hotel bar. A one night stand. Stranded in New York for an extra night than planned due to a delayed flight, I needed to find a way to keep myself occupied, and I soon found that something. It was easy enough when the handsome stranger introduced himself to me as Kade. It has been a while since I have had a hot one-night stand, and he reminds me how fun it can be. There are no questions, expectations or reasons to see one another again. What I don't expect is our night together to come around and bite me in the ass. When I arrive at a family dinner with my parents and two older sisters to celebrate my return home to Scotland, he is sitting right there with them. Not only is he my father's new business partner, but he is my sister's blind date set up by my parents. We pretend to be strangers because things would become complicated if we didn't. No one ever needs to know about what happened between us. My dad would freak out if he found out about us because he is overly protective of me as the youngest, and with the age gap between Kade and me, my father wouldn't approve. My relationship with my older sister is already strained; I don't need to make things worse between us. Even though he doesn't seem interested in her and he tries his best to show that it could still make all hell break lose. My sister hates losing. She always gets what she wants. I should stay away from him, but it is easier said than done with the tension and chemistry between us, and we struggle to fight against it. No matter what happens, it needs to be our secret to keep.

With a dead mother and an alcoholic father who refused to pay the bills, she did everything she could to make a life for herself, and she was only 16 years old. The only thing she wanted was to get the hell out of Shermer, Illinois, so for the most part, she stayed out of trouble and kept her grades up as high as she could. Pursuing an art career was her dream, and she was destined to get far in order to obtain it. Andrew Clark was one of those nice-popular stereotypes. He was a friendly face, and quite frankly did not care about who he was or wasn't allowed to associate with. Being an aspiring therapist and future D1 athlete, he craved for his father's approval. Andrew was a kind human being, and he was very susceptive when it came down to the ideals surrounding mental health. His father resented him for that, which made that aspiration so out of reach that he did anything he could to grasp it, even if it involved harming himself in the process. Esther wasn't one for talking about her feelings, but Andrew's genuine persona made it so much easier to do so. A Saturday detention in March of 1984 had turned into a glorified therapy session, and ultimately, they realized how their fellow peers cope, react, and engage, and they simply became more open to emotional sensitivity. Despite what it may seem, everyone has a lot going on deep down, and judging them for it is pointless.
