Alex is now a famous singer and in one of his interviews he's asked to talk about his first true love. Alex has been avoiding this question for a long time, but he thinks he is finally ready.
How will it go?
Characters:
Alex Gaskarth:
He is the only gay kid in the whole school and gets bullied because of that. He is 17, loves to write music and stories, to play guitar and listen to his favorite bands, Blink-182, Green Day, and Foo Fighters. He is a dreamer and always has been. He has problems, he wants to get help but doesn't know how.
Jack Barakat:
He is new in the school. He considers himself gay and is proud of that even if he gets bullied because of it. He has no friends and is 16. He is an A student in school and is a year ahead. He likes to play guitar, puppies, listen to music and watch movies. He believes that in the future there will be no discrimination and wants to fight for that. He is a believer, and wants to make reality out of his dreams.
Old Alex Gaskarth:
He is 26 years old and is a famous singer and song writer. He's still the dreamer he was ten years earlier. He loves puppies and his girlfriend Lisa. In a interview they ask about his first love. He tells the story.

Band and a Baby(Jalex Fic)
Alex's wife leaves him with their 3 month old son, she doesn't want to come back. She doesn't like life, and she wishes she'd never been married or had a child. She wanted to go back to life how it used to be, and she wanted to start fresh. She'd signed the court papers for the divorce, and he signed them too, because all he wanted now was his son. She willingly gave him up with no fight, not questions asked, and he didn't dare ask for child support. He wanted her nowhere near his boy. What the fuck was he supposed to do now? It was May, and they'd be touring the US in a fucking month. Alex didn't understand how a person could even do that. He couldn't fathom the mere idea of up and leaving your own family, especially when his parents had walked out on him. Alex was raised by his aunt, who sadly has now passed away. All Alex has left is his son, his band and his best friends/bandmates, namely his best friend of all, and the man he'd been in love with throughout high school and most of their adult lives, Jack. Alex was bisexual,and he often fought with his wife about how he'd been with Jack multiple times, when things just worked out for them, and how he cared more about Jack than her. In most ways, she was right. That's not to say that he didn't love her. He did. Did being extremely past tense. Maybe he and Jack would find their way back to each other with all of this madness. DISCLAIMER: this story in NO way represents Alex's wife IRL, she is a WONDERFUL human being, & I will not be using her name at all in this story, as it is nowhere near about her. The Taylor in this story is NOT in reference to Tay Jardine either. There may be some talk about self harm. I own none of these characters, except Mason because he's my own creation. DISCLAIMER: In almost ALL chapters- Self Harm, suicidal thoughts, mental illness, smut...If any of this bothers you, be careful reading it please. Alex, a lonely 17 year old with a heart problem and a lot of anxiety is hated by nearly everyone in his school. It was stupid, he knew that, but his anxiety and depression told him otherwise. Told him that he deserved to be hated, truly. He still longed for a friend though. He'd heard a rumor about some stupid party that any other time, he wouldn't be interested in. However, for the sake of at least attempting to find a friend, he went, and he didn't regret going when a nice black and blonde haired boy struck up a conversation, and life was a crazy roller coaster ever since with the future completely unknown. Alex is the new kid at school. After transferring from his private school friendless and bullied, it was safe to say that he was terrified. He lived alone basically.
