Peridot is 13. She struggles with a broken arm. Jasper is 12. She struggles with IED. Lapis is 11. She struggles with not knowing her birth parents. They are all sisters and the children Rose Quartz. Their mother dies after the birth of her son Steven. Everyone then struggles to keep up with themselves. There is no peace in the Quartz family, that's for sure. AU

THIS STORY IS COMPLETED. (yayahhh) Okay, so I'm just... trying to write a fanfiction, okay? About Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and Jasper and... eh... what happened on that big hand-ship before the Crystal Gems crashed it. It might be a bit of a sad story, maybe... but anyway, it's not romantic love-stuff. And there might be a little violence because – y'know – Jasper's in the book. But not too bad. I try to keep the characters, well, in character, but I probably didn't succeed. Includes some of my own theories about Yellow Diamond and Homeworld; not everything in this story is canon.
