Everything isn't what it appears, and Eleanor Dalton fears that it is only the beginning. Coffee shops are filled with brooding looks, engagement parties are filled with possibly dangerous strangers, bars are filled with pointy teeth and flicking cat tails, and suddenly Elle has found herself in the middle of it all.

Sevastion Merricks fights for his life nearly every day and doesn't seem to blink an eye. When the number of his kind begins to dwindle mysteriously, and dead are found in the streets with missing body parts, Sev fights with himself to try and find where it all starts, and hopefully, where it ends.
