When her father died three years ago, Becca was forced to grow up, quickly. Her mother had a nervous breakdown and now acts like she's the teenager. But other than having to take care of her adult mother her life was going just as she had planned. She craved the stability and control that her planning gave her. So much of her life she felt like she had no control over things so she left nothing to chance.
So what happens when a stupid school assignment puts her in close proximity with Jack O'Connor one of the hottest guys at her school?
Becca knows Jack, he's a playboy. And she knows this because she lives in the same apartment building she does and sees the bevy of girls he parades around. Nothing good can come from this and she is determined to keep her distance from a boy who may just break her into un-fixable pieces this time. But the more Becca tells him that she wants nothing to do with him the more intrigued he is with her.

So what happens when you end up falling for two of your best friends at the same time? It's been just Audrey and her mom since she was 7 and her dad left. Through the years, they've surrounded themselves with a group of supportive best friends. But after a sly comment from one of Audrey's girl friends, she starts looking at her best friend as something way more than just that. But deep down, why does she also have feelings for the Football Captain? One man she's known since she was born. He challenges her, irks her, and somehow she can't live without him. The other one: the boy next door. Best friends since he move in during 3rd grade. The sweet guy, always there for her when she needs him. Oh, and the two guys have hated each other since middle school. This story is fun to read with twists and turns. It focuses on friendship, love, what family can look like for different people, and how to keep going after loss and abuse. I wrote this in 2016 and just went through to do some re-writes but I hope you all like it!Complete

16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks.
