After destroying the One Ring and saving Middle Earth, Frodo finds himself struggling to live a normal life back in the Shire without his dear uncle Bilbo. When he receives a letter in the mail from Lord Elrond, asking him to open his home for a hobbit named Maylee, he's happy to do it.

With Middle Earth finally at peace again, the time has come for the elves of Rivendell to sail west. Young hobbit Maylee was raised within the safety of the city's walls by Lord Elrond and an elven woman named Calaereth. She is left to return to the Shire, where she can finally create a life for herself. Lord Elrond arranges for her to move in with his friend, Frodo Baggins, until she can find a place of her own.

Upon Maylee's arrival in the Shire, strange things begin happening. In an unexpected turn of events, the fate of Middle Earth falls in the hands of Frodo and Maylee, but she's been keeping a secret. She is the catalyst of the end of times. Despite her best efforts, will she cause the destruction that Frodo nearly sacrificed himself to prevent? Will he be able to forgive her? Will Frodo, Maylee, and the rest of Middle Earth find a happy ending?

Queen Naehlara (LOTR, Legolas love story) by ardenswriting
50 parts Complete Mature
In a bed chamber high in the trees of Lothlorien is a young she-elf is sound asleep. "She will wake soon if Mithrandir is to proceed with his quest to Erebor. The darkness will grow, and she will awaken to fight it, like she did long ago." Galadriel says, turning to her husband and taking his hand. The she-elf is not as young as she seems, she had nearly faded when Galadriel found her at the beginning of the second age. The elf never woke, but the Lady of Light has foreseen it; Naehlara will awaken to help lead the elves, men and all free folk to peace, for she is the High Queen of the elves. The only living elf from the first age. Her fae grows stronger with every year bringing her closer to awakening. Galadriel once was friends with the elf, her father Thingol; king of Doriath before it was abandoned and forgotten as the first age elves left Middle Earth to go back to Valanor or faded with time. "I have longed to see my friend reawaken but how do you explain to one that nearly two ages has passed since she fell into slumber." Galadriel says, a small smile growing on her face. "She was a mighty warrior, the best in all of Middle Earth. But she was stubborn, not as wise as most elves. A lot more like our Woodland kin, the ones in Greenwood." Galadriel says, a laugh slipping through her lips as she remembers watching Naehlara fight in the wars long ago. How she'd argue with anyone that stood in her way, nearly taking the head off the captain of the guard when he would not head her warning of the armies coming from Morgoth. ✨NOT A HOBBIT FANFIC IT IS SET DURING LORD OF THE RINGS✨ A/N I do not own any character other than Naehlara and maybe more if I choose to add more. But probably just Naehlara. I'm newer to the fandom so please let me know if i got any facts wrong. I hope you enjoy the story Also maybe be slow updates due to work but I hope to put out consistently!
