What would happen if the lawyer had come back after 5 years of plaguing serenity? Would the lawyer seek revenge, or would he stick by his word? ATTENTION!! : This is a sequel to a story called The Bet by Anton Chekov. I have no affiliation with the author or the original story. I highly recommend you read the first story before diving into mine! This was used as a project for school, but I also wanted to share it with you!

(DISCLAIMER: I know there are a lot of grammatical errors so please don't point them out. Proceed at your own accord.) (Working on a MAJOR and COMPLETE rewrite, the plot will be the same but I've grown as a writer over the past 5 years and I'm ready to make this story the best it can be, I'll post an announcement on my page when the rewrite is completed (: ) Lina Malkovich is about to enter the world of power, money and immortality. Halloween night Lina and her friends visit her towns greatest mystery, the Volkov Mansion. Believed to be abandoned for years they enter and wander around, what they find inside is something they never could have imagined. Alexander Volkov (believed to be dead for several hundred years) is waiting for them grinning and hungry. But something strange happens, he offers her a deal. "You shall serve me. You will be my slave and cater to my every need or desire. This is my only and final offer." Lina agrees and gets herself into much more than she bargained for.
